Some of you cats and kitties remember this ...Right !? It's P-PULL MAGAZINE,a very funky fanzine put together by our pal Ronald P.Edwards for GEORGE CLINTON & THE P-FUNK ALLSTARS for Uncle Jam Records/CBS

THE BARON VON STODON !!!! Remember thoze days,Fuzzy Haskins Radio Active was a funky record and Ronald P.Edwards and The Baron threw down on the front and back artwork for that one.We wanted to do somethin a little different from what weed been doin'

Wanted to keep up with the white backgrounds and color schemes but we thought weed break out with the psychodelic funky water color techniques weed discovered while attending Howard University School of Fine Arts.

It was a bit odd in thoze days cause everyone wanted sump-n from me for there lp cover or juss a sample.Fuzzy aproached me in a hotel hallway outside of DC near the Capital Centre where P-Funk,Betty Davis and Bootsy were having one bigg funk bash.

we promised all we would funk um up with our toons and Fuzzy followed through with Radio Active, one of my most fun funkadelic related creations....thanks Fuzzy.

The cd of this music has been released but the packaging sort of sucks lp-cd transfers don't work all the times...but its all cool!!!

George"Dr.Funkenstein"Clinton is one of my biggest fans and I one of his also.When i first met tha Dr.i was carrying a green Glad bag full of artwork and played him a tape of my current group at the time "CFM" a musical act that consisted of me ,myself and I,on everythang I could create a sound from including "my ass!?"....yep!, there were fart sounds on some tracks too....now that's fonkay!!!and the rest is P-funk history...thanks Doc!!! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Larry Graham and I met back in his days wit Sly and The Family Stone, up under my arm is one of those classic round pictures I used to create for all of my art fans and funkateers.Funk Father Graham and I will be working together soon on a toon that will of course be "hoon dangin" cuzz he is the Hoon Dang Kang on bass!!!Looks like he wants to kick my ass!? ...but naw he's a spiritually fonkay dood from the bottom to tha top!!!

This is my pal Mega*Nutt he's a badd ass bass player from the group called Weapon of Choice.I illustrated on two of their record projects;Bozo The Town(mmmm??)and Hyperspice we can't speak to each other for more than two seconds without a laugh or a joke!!!He's wearin a pair of glasses I designed for him for a cameo appearance in a Dion Ferris video shot in Washington SQ.
